The Joy of Handmade Yoshino Cedar Chopsticks Graceful Yoshino Cedar chopsticks were created about 680 years ago, During the Nanbokucho period,when Emperor Godaigo moved to Yoshino in Nara from Kyoto. Their lovely cedar fragrance and simple beauty are most suitable for the delicacy and elegance of Japanese cuisine. Today, they are widely used for exquisite Kaiseki dinners at tea ceremonies as well as for ordinary meals.
